For sale below are the sets of, one-of-a-kind, Led Zeppelin memorabilia bundled NFTs.

I, Michael E. Dehn,  was the ONLY person on the planet who ever “touched” every ticket printed (approximately 80,000) for the (4) 1980 Chicago Stadium Led Zeppelin concerts. The mail order concert tickets were originally offered through a Chicago Tribune ad that ran on 9/25/1980. Because of the tragic death of drummer John Bonham, the concert was cancelled that very day.

Soon after, I was a given the opportunity to procure the rarest of the rare ticket inventory which I held back as personal mementos. It is this collection of ticket sets and associated memorabilia that I am offering as bundled NFTs as a one-time only sale.

ABOUT BUNDLED NFTS

On this site, Bundled NFTs are described as: the actual physical item plus the one-of-a-kind “digital token” that confers ownership of the image to the buyer. Prices are as listed.

NOTE: To protect artwork pieces are show with watermarks. To inquire for purchase call 312-520-0204 or email commander@metropulse.com

Updated Founder’s Statement | October 2022

When we decided to pursue the idea of selling our extremely limited quantity of the rarest of the rare Led Zeppelin 1980 Chicago Stadium  memorabilia tickets and one of a kind media art as BUNDLED NFTs, we were operating in a nascent marketplace in the embryonic stages of development.

The project was spawned in April of 2021 when I began assimilating the disparate pieces of my entrepreneurial journey through the sale of these tickets via my archived media art chronicling the project over the course of 30 years of my involvement. It was a time consuming artistic and creative task that took almost a year to complete from start to finish. Once completed, it then made sense to expand the digital and physical offerings featured to include not only the copyrighted NFT media art to the concert that was not to be but the also the limited quantity of the framed ticket sets I had in possession as we built out the site for the direct sale of the pieces.

As I studied the EXTREME ups and downs of the cryptocurrency markets prior to our launch this last April, I determined I WAS NOT wanting to receive crypto as payment and opted for direct cash payments instead which proved to be a wise decision in the short term as crypto values plummeted over that time.

But as the crypto currency market cooled over the last few months, my projections on my perception on the cash values of my items as seen  thru the reckless abandon of the crypto values being paid for items became more and more lopsided in the wrong direction. The gamble was placing enough of a cash value on these items so if someone bought them and resold them in a crypto world I would get a fair share of the inflated value recognized.

One of the things I learned about the NFT marketplace is that it represents a far larger market for certain items than the physical collectible markets we are all acclimated to. The insertion of smart contracts in certain transactions allows for a revenue stream to the multiple owners registered on the blockchain adding to its allure through documented downloads across the Internet.

I have marked down the values on the ticket related offerings to reflect new market conditions, as of March 2023.
Respectfully,

Michael E Dehn

President/CEO

20 YEARS GONE

CERTIFICATE

A BUNDLE OF THE PHYSICAL FRAMED TICKET AND NFT CERTIFICATE.

The Corbis image featured on this certificate shows the iconic image of the May 6th, 1937 Hindenburg disaster that was shown on cover of Led Zeppelin’s 1st LP. We felt this presentation fit perfectly for the 20th anniversary edition of our Led Zeppelin tickets in 2000 remembering the tragic death of John Bonham and highlighting the history of our project that commenced on the very day of his death on September 25th, 1980.

This framed hand signed edition would be the last of it’s type as future editions incorporated a color coded seating chart that meshed with the individual ticket location featured. The heavy stock paper was printed in 3 layers to create a “metallic” silver look under the black type verbiage.

THE LEGEND LIVES ON

FRAMED TICKET

CERTIFICATE

A BUNDLE OF THE PHYSICAL FRAMED TICKETS AND NFT CERTIFICATE.

In 1994, it was decided to demolish the Chicago Stadium as the United Center across the street was already in operation.

This 3 ticket set, limited to only 1994 pieces, was created to immortalize that sad event which truly marked the end of an era in Chicago.

I hand signed each frame which was professionally numbered and an embossed gold foil corporate seal was affixed to each. Certificate was printed on antique parchment designed around a 1939 lithograph off a postcard from that time and was one of my all timefavorites.

ROCK BOOK POSTER(s)

CERTIFICATE

A BUNDLE OF THE PHYSICAL FRAMED POSTER AND NFT CERTIFICATE.

This framed “CLASSIC ROCK BOOK” 1981 promotional poster represents the true genesis of the BEGINNING of THE END of the acquisition process of the Led Zeppelin 1980 Chicago Stadium ticket inventory from Chicago Stadium Corporation. Because of my involvement in the creation of the Chicago classic rock radio station 95.5 FM WMET “CLASSIC ROCK BOOK” (NFT artwork of writing credits)

I was able to procure a front row center main floor ticket to prominently feature on the front cover of the book from my contact at the Chicago Stadium box office, a ticket no one had ever seen at the time b/c as it widely known, the tickets that were specially pre-printed for a mail order sale were NEVER sent out due to the tragic and untimely death of John Bonham on the very day the full page ad ran in the Chicago Tribune on September 25th 1980.

This prompted a freeze on the sale of the tickets to the 4 shows that were scheduled for Nov 10, 12 13 and 15th 1980 until the band officially disbanded on December 4th 1980 and money orders received were returned to the senders. (Wirtz return remittance)  This book and the key placement of the ticket on the front cover, which debuted at the Summer 1981 “CHICAGOFEST” held at Navy Pier on the Chicago lakefront was a major reason

I was able to secure an audience with the owner of the Chicago Stadium, Arthur M. Wirtz, later that year on November 1st 1981 (original ticket to the meeting at the Chicago Stadium-not included in sale) which was the catalyst to the chain of events that culminated the deal eventually being consummated on December 23, 1986.
