Friend of the platform Ken Voss posted this insightful piece chronicling the fact the first ever Beatles record released in the States almost a year BEFORE the seismic cultural explosion that was Ed Sullivan on 2/9/1964 was right here in Chicago on Feb 28th 1963. Featured in the thread on this post is not only a picture of the actual VJ 498 45 but also a WLS Silver Dollar survey from the following week of March 8th 1963 which represents the last week the 45 record tracked here. In addition, they misspelled the Beatles with TWO T”s
